Create an Easter tablescape with KGF X Jeremy Lee
Saturday 13 April 2019 14:00 (150 Minutes)
Heckfield Place - Sun House
Join floral designer Kitten Grayson Flowers and renowned Quo Vadis chef Jeremy Lee for a half-day workshop to create a beautiful Easter tablescape, followed by tea and cake.
Using homegrown Heckfield blooms, most notably multiple varieties of tulips freshly cut from the cuttings garden, you will design and create a delightful seasonal arrangement. The KGF team will provide all the guidance, hints and tips you need to recreate similarly abundant and stylish arrangements time after time.
On the day, as a group you will use your arrangements to decorate the dining table in the Sun House, styling them alongside artfully placed vegetables plucked from the farm, elegant candles, glassware and linen for a sumptuous Easter table. In his own unique style, Jeremy Lee will meanwhile share his ideas on finding good produce through good shopping, a theme that has inspired his seasonal menus at Quo Vadis, where the cooking is bright, fresh and quintessentially British in a manner most modern.
At the end of the workshop, all participants will be invited to feast upon delicious tea and cake, before taking home their own vased arrangements.
No previous experience necessary, all materials provided.
Jeremy Lee joined Sam & Eddie Hart at Quo Vadis in Soho in early 2012, becoming Chef Proprietor of this venerable restaurant. Jeremy had previously manned the stoves of Blueprint Café on the first floor of the Design Museum, which Sir Terence Conran created on the south bank of the River Thames near Tower Bridge. This singular cook has worked with such distinguished restaurateurs as Simon Hopkinson and Alastair Little, who all played a considerable part in the great resurgence of modern British cooking.
