About

The Studio

Flowers, to us, are storytellers.

Kitten Grayson Flowers is a design studio based between London and Somerset, founded in 2016 by floral designer and gardener Kitten Grayson.

Inspired by the ephemeral beauty of natural landscapes, the studio works closely with each client to create immersive botanical worlds, connecting them back to nature and telling their own stories.

From wild, whimsical large-scale wedding and event installations to bespoke biodynamic garden design, seasonality and a deep commitment to sustainability are at the heart of every piece and inform the creative process throughout.

Deeply connected to nature’s rhythms and cycles, Kitten Grayson Flowers embraces the transience of the seasons in each installation, exploring gateways into an ethereal world of enlightenment and the expression of beauty through flowers.

Every one of our creations is completely bespoke. Please get in touch to discuss your project, we would love to hear from you.

Kitten Grayson

Kitten Grayson grew up in rural Somerset and began working with flowers as soon as she left school. Working from her two bases at The Cutting Garden near Bruton, where she and her team grow their own flowers according to biodynamic principles, and their design studio in London, Kitten has become known for magical, otherworldly floral installations.

Now with over 20 years’ experience, she trained under some of London’s top florists. Kitten honed her horticultural skills working on private cutting gardens with landscape architects and a horticulturalist studio.

The studio’s work is informed by Kitten’s profound connection with nature and synaesthetic relationship with the surrounding landscape. From the magical folkloric aesthetic of her designs to the biodynamic growing practises employed at The Cutting Garden, harnessing the influence of the moon, sun, sky and stars, Grayson cultivates an almost spiritual relationship with the soil and the plants that emerge from it.
